Beds and bed frames, desks, dressers, wardrobes, shelving units, bookcases, dining tables and chairs, office furniture, outdoor furniture, and modular storage. We work with most major brands including IKEA, Wayfair, Ashley, Pottery Barn, West Elm, and Amazon Basics — plus custom and flat-pack items from smaller retailers.

Do I need to have all the parts ready before you arrive?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please confirm all boxes are on-site and unopened, all parts and hardware are present, and the manufacturer instructions are included. Missing hardware is the most common reason assembly needs to be rescheduled — a quick inventory check before we arrive saves everyone time.

How long does assembly typically take?

Accepted Answer

Simple items like a bookcase or nightstand take 20–40 minutes. Beds and dressers run 45–90 minutes. Complex items like wardrobes, modular storage systems, or office furniture with multiple components can take 2–3 hours. We estimate time honestly based on what you're assembling before we arrive.

Can you assemble furniture in tight spaces or older homes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Peninsula mid-century homes in San Carlos, Belmont, and Redwood City often have narrow doorways, tight hallways, and compact rooms. Pre-war East Bay homes in Berkeley and Oakland frequently have plaster walls that don't forgive mistakes. We plan each assembly around clearances and protect floors and walls throughout the job.

Do you haul away the boxes and packaging after assembly?

Accepted Answer

We break down all cardboard and packaging and stack it neatly for your recycling or trash pickup. For large volumes of packaging — common with modular closet systems or office furniture — ask us in advance and we can arrange haul-away as a small add-on.

Question 6

What if parts are missing or damaged?

Accepted Answer

We document what's missing, photograph any damaged parts, and help you file a claim with the retailer or manufacturer. Once replacement parts arrive we return to complete the assembly — typically at a reduced rate since we already have most of the work done.
